Meet Cathryn
Cathryn works with a small talented team at her studio in West Sussex creating bespoke embroidery design and production for film and theatre.
Cathryn hand stitches and beads, and uses two machines, the Cornely which makes a chain stitch and her beloved Irish which she specialises in, allowing her to develop flowing freehand embroidery.

Current and recent projects include Aladdin, Maleficent 2, Mulan, Swan Lake at ROH, Outlaw King, The Crown and Victoria.

After graduating from The Royal College of Art, Cathryn founded an embroidered fashion label selling to private clients and exclusive boutiques around the world before turning her attention to the film and theatre world.
Cathryn was featured in publications such as Vogue and Tattler showcasing Cathryn’s time designing and making her own fashion label of embroidered dresses and accessories from the early 90’s to the late 00’s.
