Embroidery for Film, Television & Theatre

Cathryn Avison works with a small team of people in her studio in the West Sussex countryside creating bespoke embroidery designs and production for film and theatre.

Cathryn hand stitches and beads, and uses two machines, the Cornely which makes a chain stitch and her Irish which she specialises in, allowing her to develop flowing freehand embroidery.
